Steve Jarmon

“A person’s right to earn a living and support their family is one of the most important and fundamental rights that a person can possess. ” Attorney Steve E. Jarmon

Steve passionately believes that everyone is entitled to have an equal opportunity to gain employment, retain their employment and be fairly compensated for their hard work.  Steve’s passion for law and justice began early. Raised in his home state of Delaware by his grandparents, he learned the value of hard work, determination, and education.

Meet Steve Jarmon: A former prosecutor, a dedicated attorney and family man and the person you are going to rely on for an employment or civil rights issue.

His grandparents worked for a combined 60 years for their respective companies.  Steve witnessed first hand how steady employment could translate into a stable, secure and happy household.

This strong foundation aided his success at the University of Delaware, where he earned his degree in Leadership. While in college, he made the decision to use the legal system as a means to fight injustice and discrimination.

Steve then pursued his goal of becoming an attorney by attending Widener School of Law, where he was a member of the Black Law Students Association. In law school, he followed a clerkship in private practice by accepting an offer to intern with the Chester County District Attorney’s Office.

After obtaining his Juris Doctorate degree and successfully passing the Pennsylvania Bar Exam on his first try, Steve became an Assistant District Attorney with the Chester County District Attorney’s Office. It was here that he gained his trial experience and successfully prosecuted misdemeanor and felony cases on behalf of the Commonwealth.

Just as Steve fought to get justice for everyday citizens who fell victim to crimes when he was a prosecutor, he continues to fight to get justice for people who have been  victims of unlawful conduct in the work place.  He feels personally that it is his mission to hold employers who break the law accountable and force them to take responsibility for their actions and fairly compensate their victims.

As a prominent African American lawyer who is based in Chester County and West Chester, Pennsylvania, he is sensitive to the need to protect your civil rights.

Prepared, experienced, and undaunted: Steve Jarmon fights for his clients and demands justice, decency, and civil rights. He brings his valuable litigation experience to the clients of the Ciccarelli Law Offices.  Speak to Steve Jarmon today at (610) 692-8700.
